Our Warranty
Installed once, and backed by the people who designed and built it. Every system we install carries a 5-year limited warranty on the hardware and a 2-year workmanship warranty on the installation itself.
5 Years on Hardware
LED tubes, track and channel, power supplies, and controllers are covered against defects in materials and manufacturing. We design and source our own parts, so replacements come from the people who built them.
2 Years on Installation
Mounting, fasteners, wire runs, terminations, and sealing are covered for two full years. If something we installed loosens, sags, or fails at a connection, we come back out and correct it. Parts and labor included. Most of the industry covers labor for one year.

LuminaConnect is free for the life of your system. No subscriptions and no paywalled features. Firmware updates, scene help, and remote troubleshooting are always included.
What Is and Is Not Covered
Covered
- LEDs that fail, dim prematurely, or drift out of color spec
- Failed controllers, drivers, and power supplies
- Defective track, channel, or mounting hardware
- Splices, connections, and terminations made by our crews
- Track or tube that loosens, sags, or separates from the mounting surface
- Water intrusion at a fitting we installed
- Labor and return trips on covered repairs for the first two years
Not Covered
- Storm, hail, lightning, ice, wind, and falling limbs
- Damage caused by roofing, gutter, siding, painting, or pressure washing work done by others
- Power surges, utility faults, and wiring outside our scope of work
- Modification, relocation, or repair by anyone other than Lumina Lights
- Removal and reinstallation for renovation or exterior work, which we quote separately
- Vandalism, impact, and animal damage
- Systems not purchased from and installed by Lumina Lights
How to Make a Claim
Tell us what you are seeing
Call 440-586-4620 or email [email protected]. We answer Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. A photo or short video of the affected run helps us move faster.
We diagnose it first
Most systems report back through LuminaConnect, so we can often pinpoint the failed zone, driver, or controller before a truck ever leaves the shop.
We schedule the service call
Covered parts are free for five years. Labor is free for the first two, and billed at our standard service rate after that. If anything falls outside the warranty, we tell you up front and quote it before we start.
The Details
- Coverage begins the day your installation is completed.
- Hardware is covered for five years. The installation workmanship behind it is covered for two.
- After year two we still handle the repair and the parts are still free. You cover the service call at our standard rate.
- Coverage applies to the original installation address and transfers once to a new owner at no cost. Just let us know who they are.
- Replacement parts carry the remainder of the original five-year term.
- Commercial, municipal, and event installations may be governed by a separate service agreement. Where one exists, that contract controls.
- This page is a plain-language summary. Your written limited warranty is the governing document, and we will send you a copy any time you ask.
